We have told before that there is a theme park located in the south point of Isla Mujeres, really close to the Ixchel Temple and the impressive sculptural park on a cliff. This is Garrafon Park, a small natural theme park which may look like there is not much to do, from the outside but sure has lots of activities for all ages.

How to get there?

There are two ways to get to Garrafon Park; if you were already on the island, you can get there on your own by car, bicycle, taxi or golf cart, otherwise, if you are not on the island you can take a special ferry located on Playa Langosta on the Hotel Zone of Cancun, which will take you directly to the dock of the park.

What should I expect to see or do in the park?

Even though it is not as big as other theme parks, we can assure you that a day will not be enough for the number of activities and things to enjoy.

Among all those activities, you can swim and/or interact with dolphins, fly on a zip line above the turquoise sea, sail on a kayak, discover different colorful fishes while snorkeling, and live the energizing and ancestral experience of the temazcal.

After that, you can rest and recharge your energies with food. There is a delicious buffet with all kinds of food, you can rest on a hammock or a lounge chair along with a refreshing drink. Then, to finish the day you can see the sunset while relaxing on the infinity pool.
